The staff of New Gateways, Inc. are an important
part of the success of our business.

Colleen O'Neill-Brayton, Executive Director

Colleen has worked with mentally and physically challenged children and adults for the past 35 years.  She is presently President of the Macomb Oakland Guardianship Association, Vice-President of the Fowler Center (a camp for physically and mentally challenged children and adults), on the Board of Directors for the Oakland County ARC, Board member of Progressive Lifestyles, member of the MORC Quality Assurance Team, member of the Oakland County RICC, member of the Advisory Board for Angel's Place,  and a member of the Oakland County Providers Steering Committee.
 
Colleen is an advocate of Gentle Teaching and all staff at New Gateways, Inc. are trained and practice Gentle Teaching at all times.  She believes in choices for all clients.  Her philosophy is to keep clients safe, give them choices, love them, make sure they feel safe and loved by all staff and they will be happy.

Lynn Maginity, Client Services Coordinator

Lynn has been with New Gateways since 2001.  She is very involved with intakes, facility tours, PCPs, and other misc. client issues.  She is presently an active member of the Oakland County RICC and Chair of their Empowerment Committee, member of the Oakland County ARC, participant of Macomb Oakland Regional Center's Direct Care Day committee, and a participant in Oakland School's Transition Network Committee.

Lynn studied under Wayne State University’s Social Work program for four years and received her degree in Business Administration at Western International University in Phoenix, AZ.  She also received her Direct Care Apprenticeship from the U.S. Department of Labor in collaboration with MORC and Oakland Community College.
